| Title: Controlled Substances Registration and Reregistration Application Fees | |
| Abstract: DEA is adjusting the current fee schedule for DEA controlled substances registration to adequately recover necessary costs associated with the Diversion Control Program (DCP) as mandated by the Departments of Commerce, Justice, and State, the Judiciary, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act of 1993, section 111(b), Public Law 102-395. DEA published its last fee revision in 1993. Since that time, fees have remained unchanged. This final rule will finalize the fee structure under the existing registration system to fully support the operations of the DCP for fiscal years 2004 through 2006. DEA is required by law to collect the full costs of the DCP. | |
