Title: Enhancements and Clarifications to the List of Free Legal Services Providers for Aliens Appearing Before the Immigration Courts
Abstract: This rule proposes to amend 8 CFR part 1003 by changing the name of the "List of Free Legal Services Providers" to the "List of Pro Bono Legal Service Providers." The rule also enhances the eligibility requirements for organizations, private attorneys, and referral services to be included on the List of Pro Bono Legal Service Providers (List). In addition, the rule transfers responsibility for maintaining the List from the Office of the Chief Immigration Judge to the Board of Immigration Appeals.
