| Title: ●Transferring Machineguns Between Qualified Licensees | |
|
Abstract:
The rule proposes to amend ATF regulations to update the procedure for the transfer of machineguns between qualified manufacturers, importers or dealers. Specifically, the proposed rule would simplify the regulatory requirements for machinegun transfers pursuant to a request for demonstration to a government entity or a discontinuance of business. The proposed changes would allow the implementing regulations to more closely mirror the statutory authority provided by the Gun Control Act. |
