Abstract:
This rule proposes to amend regulations to clarify when a state's firearms-related permit meets the requirements under the Gun Control Act as an alternative to the background check conducted under the National Instant Background Check System (NICS) and includes minor changes to ensure that the regulatory language adheres closely to the language used in the statute. |
