| Title: Temporary Agricultural Employment of H-2A Foreign Workers in the Herding or Production of Livestock on the Range in the United States | |
|
Abstract:
Office of Foreign Labor Certification of the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) has established special procedures for certain occupations, including long-established variances for sheepherding, goat herding, and occupations involving the open range production of livestock. The wage-setting methodology and other employment standards for these occupations have been set in the past by sub-regulatory guidance. ETA is engaging in this regulatory action to establish standards for wages and working conditions in these occupations based on input from the regulated community. |
