Overall Description of Deadline: The Secretary shall, not later than 12/31/24, update 29 CFR 2520.104b-1(c) to provide that a plan may furnish the statements referred to in 105(a)(2)(E) of ERISA by electronic delivery only if, with respect to participants/ beneficiaries who first become eligible after 12/31/25, such plan furnishes them a notice on paper, prior to the electronic delivery of any statement, of their right to request that all required disclosures be furnished on paper in written form.
