| Title: Amendments to ITAR: Brokering Activities and Related Provisions | |
| Abstract: The Department of State proposes to amend part 129 of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) relating to brokers and brokering activities. Amendments are also to be made to related provisions of the ITAR. The proposed revisions are intended to clarify registration requirements, the scope of brokering activities, prior approval requirements and exemptions, procedures for obtaining prior approval and guidance, and reporting and recordkeeping of such activities. Conforming and technical changes would be made to other parts of the ITAR that affect export as well as brokering activities. | |
