Abstract:
The Department of State intends to amend the DOSAR in 48 CFR, to provide Department requirements, as well as a contract clause, on the protection of unclassified sensitive information. Contractors will be expected to comply with certain obligations, such as (but not limited to) using only Department-owned hardware and software in the performance of the contract and on Department systems; ensuring that its employees received training on cybersecurity best practices; ensuring that employees comply with Department cybersecurity policies; limiting employees’ access to sensitive information; and providing for disciplinary action if employees do not comply with Department information security policies. |
