Title: ●Passports: Procedure for Processing 
Abstract:

The Department is amending 22 C.F.R. Part 51 by removing language that requires that all portions of the passport issuance process be completed by a person. This language change will provide greater flexibility in the modernization of passport processing, which could include new technologies for pre-screening applications and the automation of passport renewals.
