Overall Description of Deadline: The provisions of the BFTA were adopted by the United States with the enactment of the United States-Bahrain Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act (the Act), Public Law 109-169, 119 Stat. 3581 (19 U.S.C. 3805 note), on January 11, 2006. Section 205 of the Act requires that regulations be prescribed as necessary within 1 year after the date of entry into force of the Agreement. |
