It partially overlaps with the Ohio River Valley viticultural area (27 CFR 9.78). Distinguishing features of the proposed Indiana Uplands viticultural area include its non-glaciated plateau geology, thin residual soil and loess cover, variable topography, and a unique growing climate. | |
