Title: Establishment of the Ancient Lakes of Columbia Valley Viticultural Area
Abstract: The 162,762-acre proposed Ancient Lakes of Columbia Valley American viticultural area (AVA) is in the Quincy Valley basin area of Douglas, Grant, and Kittitas Counties of central Washington. It occupies approximately 1.5 percent of the large Columbia Valley AVA. Distinguishing features include geography, soils, and climate.
