| Abstract: This document proposes to amend provisions in title 19 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) pertaining to the informal entry limit and the administrative exemption. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) proposes to increase the informal entry limit to the maximum statutory amount of $2,500, and to increase the administrative exemption level to reduce the overall administrative burden on importers and other entry filers. | |
