| Title: Informal Entry Limit and Removal of a Formal Entry Requirement | |
| Abstract: This document proposes to amend provisions in title 19 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) pertaining to the informal entry limit. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) proposes to increase the informal entry limit to the maximum statutory amount of $2,500, in response to inflation that has occurred and thereby to reduce the overall administrative burden on importers and other entry filers. | |
