Abstract: These temporary regulations provide guidance concerning the development and utilization of uniform explanation of coverage documents, standardized definitions, and the provision of additional information under sections 2715 and 2715A of the Public Health Service Act, incorporated into section 9815 of the Internal Revenue Code by section 1563(f) of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, Public Law 111-148.
