Abstract: OTS, the other banking agencies, the SEC, and FTC have issued a notice of proposed rulemaking governing a financial institution's ability to disclose nonpublic personal information about consumers to nonaffiliated third parties. This proposal would implement title V, subtitle A, of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.
