Abstract: The OCC, FRB, FDIC, OTS, NCUA, and FTC plan to issue a final rule that will implement section 312 of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003 (FACT Act), relating to the accuracy and integrity of the information furnished to a consumer reporting agency and the ability of consumers to dispute information directly with persons who furnish information to a consumer reporting agency.
