Abstract: The OCC, FRB, FDIC, and OTS issued a notice of proposed rulemaking to revise the term "community development" on a temporary basis. It would include participation by financial institutions in certain activities that support projects and revitalization efforts in areas designated as eligible for funds under the Neighborhood Stabilization Program, established pursuant to the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008.
