| Abstract: In this rulemaking, the Coast Guard would harmonize selected regulations for structural fire protection and fire detection equipment with international standards as set forth by the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) Convention. The Coast Guard would also update the standards by referencing national industry standards. Further, the Coast Guard would make corrections and adjustments to existing regulations. | |
