Title: ● Passport Requirements for Certain Passengers on Cruises in the Western Hemisphere  
Abstract:

DHS and DOJ are proposing to require passports for most passengers on cruises, including those traveling exclusively in the Western Hemisphere.  Currently certain cruise ship passengers, including U.S. and Canadian citizens, traveling in the Western Hemisphere are exempt from passport requirements and may provide alternative documents when entering the United States by sea from a contiguous territory or adjacent island.
