Title: Title I--Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged
Abstract: The Secretary proposes to amend (a) the regulations requiring States to revise their accountability workbooks and submit them to the Department for peer review under 34 CFR 200.7(a)(2)(ii) and (iii), and (b) the regulations in 34 CFR 200.47(b)(1)(iv) prohibiting States from approving as a provider of supplemental educational services a school district identified for improvement or corrective action or a school identified for improvement, corrective action, or restructuring.
