Abstract: The Secretary issues priorities, requirements, definitions, and selection criteria for the Teacher Incentive Fund, which supports competitive grants to school districts, consortia of school districts, States, and non-profit organizations to develop and implement performance-based compensation systems for teachers, principals, and other personnel in high-need schools.
