Title: Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, ESEA--Innovative Assessment Demonstration Authority 
Abstract:

The Secretary proposes regulations to implement the provisions of section 1204 of the ESEA, as amended by ESSA, authorizing the Secretary to provide State educational agencies and consortia with demonstration authority for all or some of their LEAs to implement an innovative assessment system, with the intent of scaling this system statewide by the end of the authority and replacing its current statewide assessments.
