| Title: ●Charter School Programs | |
|
Abstract:
Current CSP regulations impose complex and often duplicative requirements that hinder timely application submissions and create barriers to entry for new and expanding charter schools. To promote innovation, the Department proposes certain deregulatory measures to simplify eligibility and application criteria, minimize redundancies, and provide greater flexibility in compliance reporting. These changes will enhance efficiency, support charter school growth, and ensure that oversight remains focused on outcomes rather than procedural formalities. |
