Title: Discipline Procedures 
Abstract:

The Secretary will amend regulations under Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), which govern the Assistance to States for the Education of Children with Disabilities program. The new regulations will define when a suspension or other removal of a child with disabilities from his or her current placement for not more than 10 school days is appropriate, and therefore permissible, under IDEA section 615(k).
