Abstract: These regulations are needed to adopt a consolidated definition of "payment period" for all title IV student financial assistance programs, add as a standard of administrative capability that institutions use electronic services that the Secretary provides and that are substantially free, and revise subpart K (Cash Management) of the Student Assistance General Provisions.
