Title: Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act 
Abstract: These regulations implement the Department's interpretation of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) identified through administrative experience as necessary for proper program operation. These regulations provide general guidelines for accepting in electronic format "signed and dated written consent" under FERPA.
