| Additional Information: The Energy Policy and Conservation Act of 2005 (EPACT 2005) prohibits the manufacture of mercury vapor lamp ballasts after January 1, 2008, which will affect the energy savings potential of standards for HID lamps. DOE has concluded that the analysis to determine whether standards are technologically feasible and economically justified must be redone as a result of EPACT 2005. | |
