Title: ●Energy Efficiency Standards for Certain Commercial and Industrial Electric Motors 
Abstract: The Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA), as amended, directs the U.S. DOE to issue amended standards for commercial and industrial electric motors no later than December 19, 2012. (42 U.S.C. 6313(b)(4)(B)) The framework document begins the rulemaking process to satisfy this requirement and presents the proposed methodology that DOE will use throughout the rulemaking process.
