Title: Standards for Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners and Packaged Terminal Heat Pumps 
Abstract:

DOE is required by EPCA to either propose amended energy conservation standards for packaged terminal air conditioners and heat pumps, or to determine that the existing standards do not need to be amended.  DOE is required to adopt American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) levels, unless clear and convincing evidence supports the adoption of more stringent standards.
