Title: Energy Conservation Standards for Small Electric Motors and Other Electric Motors 
Abstract:

EPCA, as amended by AEMTCA, provides DOE statutory authority to regulate a wider variety of electric motors and small electric motors than those previously covered under DOE's regulations, i.e. "other motors."  DOE is conducting a rulemaking to determine whether to amend existing energy conservation standards for small motors.  In this rulemaking, DOE is also considering whether to propose standards for "other motors."
