| Title: Test Procedure for Battery Chargers | |

Abstract:
The Energy Policy and Conservation Act of 1975 (EPCA), as amended, provides DOE with the authority to prescribe test procedures and energy conservation standards for various consumer products, including battery chargers. This rule, which was recently finalized, modifies and clarifies certain testing requirements in the existing test procedure for battery chargers, codified in appendix Y of subpart B of 10 CFR 430. |
