| Title: Implementation of EPS Service Parts Act of 2014 for External Power Supplies | |
|
Abstract:
This rulemaking codifies the EPS Service Parts Act of 2014. That law provided manufacturers with an exemption for EPS's that are made available as service and spare parts for end-use products. It also allows DOE to request shipments numbers of exempted products, limit the exemption if it is causing a significant reduction in energy savings, and apply exemptions to future EPS rules. This rule specifically incorporates an exemption to the standards for EPS's. |
