| Title: Implementation of EPS Service Parts Act of 2014 for External Power Supplies | |
|
Abstract:
This rulemaking codified the EPS Service Parts Act of 2014 (Service Parts Act). That law established an exemption for manufacturers of an EPS made available as a service or spare part for use with end-use products. Consistent with that law, the rule also established provisions requiring the reporting by each manufacturer of the number of EPSs it has shipped that are claimed to be exempt under the Service Parts Act. This rule was finalized in May 2016. See 81 FR 30157 (May 16, 2016). |
