| Title: ●Energy Conservation Program for Appliance Standards: Certification, Compliance, and Enforcement Requirements for Consumer Products and Commercial and Industrial Equipment | |
|
Abstract:
The Department of Energy (DOE) is examining whether to amend the current certification, compliance, and enforcement requirements applicable to consumer products and commercial and industrial equipment. As a result of this effort, DOE is considering amendments that would reduce regulatory burden and remove outdated requirements. Any rulemaking action will be consistent with the President's direction in Executive Order 14154, Unleashing American Energy, to preserve consumer choice as well as DOE's statutory obligation to preserve appliance features in the market. |
