| Title: ●Energy Conservation Program: Enforcement Provisions for Ceiling Fan Light Kits | |
|
Abstract:
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is initiating an effort to consider deregulatory provisions for ceiling fan light kits. Specifically, DOE is considering clarifying language to explain the applicability of ceiling fan light kit and general service lamp energy conservation standards for a given product. Any rulemaking action will be consistent with the President's direction in Executive Order 14154, Unleashing American Energy, to preserve consumer choice as well as DOE's statutory obligation to preserve appliance features in the market. |
