Title: Occupational Radiation Protection 
Abstract:

 

This action amends DOE's Occupational Radiation Protection rulemaking to update appendix D, "Surface Contamination Values," to adopt values in American National Standard ANSI/HPS N13.12-2013, "Surface and Volume Radioactivity Standards for Clearance." DOE will also make several corrections in appendix E, "Values for Establishing Sealed Radioactive Source Accountability and Radioactive Material Posting and Labeling Requirements." Further, DOE is considering clarifying its requirements for when radiation safety training is required.
