Title: Water Quality Standards to Protect Human Health in Alaska 
Abstract:

On June 5, 2024, the EPA issued an Administrator’s Determination that Alaska’s human health criteria (HHC) are not protective of the state’s designated uses. As of Spring 2025, the EPA is working with Alaska and assessing options on how and whether to proceed with proposing a rulemaking.
