| Title: RCRA Reporting and Recordkeeping Burden Reduction; Notice of Data Availability | |
| Abstract: To comply with the requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, EPA must reduce the information collection burden associated with the reporting and recordkeeping requirements imposed on the regulated community by the Agency's regulatory programs. Information Collection Requests (ICRs) approved by the Office of Management and Budget provide a measure of the reporting and recordkeeping requirements associated with a particular regulation. The Office of Solid Waste (OSW) is conducting a review of RCRA ICRs and developing options for reducing the associated burden. OSW will solicit comment on these ideas and estimates of actual burden reduction hours in a Notice of Data Availability. Comments on this Notice will be considered when we start preparing a proposed burden reduction rulemaking. | |
