| Title: ●National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for Stationary Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines; Amendments | |
| Abstract: EPA is taking direct final action to promulgate amendments to the final national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants for existing stationary reciprocating internal combustion engines. The final rule was published on August 20, 2010. This direct final action amends certain regulatory text to clarify compliance requirements related to continuous parametric monitoring systems. EPA granted a 90-day stay of these requirements on January 19, 2011 and is seeking to clarify the requirements prior to the stay ending on April 19, 2011. EPA is also correcting minor typographical errors in the regulatory text to the August 20, 2010 action. We would like for the direct final rule to be effective when the 90-day stay expires on April 19, 2011, therefore, this action must be signed by the Administrator and published in the Federal Register by February 18, 2011 in order to provide 60 days for the public comment period prior to the direct final rule becoming effective. | |
