This action would have finalized changes to the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) emissions inventory reporting requirements to collect data needed for the EPA to implement pollution reduction programs and ensure that the EPA has sufficient information to identify and solve air quality and exposure problems. The amendments would also have allowed the EPA to have information readily available that the Agency needs to protect public health and perform other activities under the Clean Air Act (CAA or “the Act”). EPA is no longer planning to finalize the action.
