| Title: Protection of Stratospheric Ozone: Standards Related to Applications of Ozone-Depleting Substances as Feedstock and Process Agents and Other Updates | |
|
Abstract:
As required by Title VI of Clean Air Act (CAA), the United States has already phased out nearly all production and consumption of ozone-depleting substances (ODS). This action considers technical revisions to provide additional clarity and assist compliance with existing recordkeeping and reporting requirements for the remaining excepted production and industrial uses of ODS. This action will also propose to streamline some existing regulatory requirements, including the advance notification requirements for import of ODS (such as for feedstock use), and make other updates to the ODS phaseout program. |
