Title: Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) Program: Set 2
Abstract: Under the Clean Air Act, the EPA is required to determine the applicable volume requirements for the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) program for years after those specified in the statute. This action finalizes the applicable volumes and percentage standards for 2026 and 2027 for cellulosic biofuel, biomass-based diesel, advanced biofuel, and total renewable fuel. This action also addresses reallocation of exempted volumes for the 2023 through 2025 compliance years and a projection of exempted volumes for 2026 and 2027 in the context of establishing the percentage standards for those years.
