Title: Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) Program: Partial Waiver of 2024 Cellulosic Biofuel Volume Requirement 
Abstract:

Under the Clean Air Act, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is required to determine the applicable volume requirements for the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) for years after those specified in the statute. The Clean Air Act also provides EPA with waiver authorities to reduce the required volumes under certain conditions. This action reduces the previously established required volume of cellulosic biofuel for 2024 and the associated percentage standard due to a shortfall in cellulosic biofuel production.
