Abstract:
On July 5, 2024, the EPA published the risk and technology review (RTR) of the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for Coke Ovens: Pushing, Quenching, and Battery Stacks, and Coke Oven Batteries (See 89 FR 55684). This action moves the compliance dates to July 5, 2027, to allow facilities additional time to comply with the rule. The changes addressed in this action do not affect the substantive requirements of the final rule, and they do not result in changes to emission reductions or costs. |
