Title: NSPS for SOCMI and NESHAP for SOCMI and P&R I Industry: Reconsideration 
Abstract:

On May 16, 2024, the EPA published the New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) for the Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturing Industry and National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for the Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturing Industry and Group I & Group II Polymers and Resins Industry (89 FR 42932). On March 12, 2025, the EPA announced it would be reconsidering this final rule. This action will propose to address several issues under Clean Air Act sections 111 and 112 for the Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturing Industry (SOCMI) NESHAP (also known as the Hazardous Organic NESHAP (HON)), SOCMI NSPS, and Group I Polymers and Resins NESHAP.
