Abstract:

EPA received petitions for reconsideration on the New Source Performance Standards for Steel Plants: Electric Arc Furnaces and Argon-Oxygen Decarburization Vessels (88 FR 58442, August 25, 2023) and New Source Performance Standards for Steel Plants: Electric Arc Furnaces and Argon-Oxygen Decarburization Vessels; Corrections (89 FR 11198, February 14, 2024). EPA granted reconsideration of the issues raised in both petitions. This action will address the issues raised in the reconsideration petitions.
