| Title: ●Amendments to Department's Procedures in Regulating Unfair and Deceptive Practices | |
|
Abstract:
This rulemaking would amend the hearing procedures, set forth in 14 CFR 399.79, that are available when the Department proposes a discretionary aviation consumer protection rulemaking declaring a practice to be unfair or deceptive. The rulemaking would propose to simplify the hearing procedures and allow the Department greater flexibility to conduct the hearing in a manner that does not unduly delay the rulemaking. |
