Abstract:

The Department would update the regulations governing its Transportation Infrastructure Finance Program and Innovation Act and Railroad Rehabilitation and Improvement Financing Program by: 1) reflecting recent statutory updates; 2) consolidating and harmonizing the regulations so that they are in one place and consistent across programs; and 3) streamlining the regulations and making programmatic updates.
