| Title: ●Safe Disposition of Life Limited Aircraft Parts | |
| Abstract: This action responds to the Wendell H. Ford Aviation Investment and Reform Act for the 21st Century by proposing that all persons who remove any life-limited aircraft part be required to have a method to prevent the installation of that part that has reached its life limit. Current regulations do not adequately control the disposition of life-limited parts. This action would reduce the risk of life-limited parts from being used beyond their life limits. This proposal would also require that manufacturers of the parts provide marking instructions, when requested. | |
